ICBA Offers Security Breach Toolkit
ICBA has teamed with Visa and developed a Security Breach Communications Too
lkit that can be used by community banks to help protect cardholder trust.

This comprehensive communications guide gives community banks the means of communicating with card customers and the media within 24 hours of a security compromise. Having this contingency plan in place can make all the difference in a security breach episode.

Toolkit Includes: A brochure on communications best practices following a data security breach, as well as customizable template materials like cardholder letters, statement inserts, FAQs, and media statements.

Other resources available to you include a recording of yesterday's audio conference that focused on the recent Target security breach, a short video offering best practices during a card data breach and more.
